BOTAMENT® BV 2 is a top-quality impregnation and sealant with a silk sheen for mineral floor surfaces in interior and exterior areas. BOTAMENT® BV 2 is suitable for zones where people walk or subject to occasional car traffic.

• For dry and wet areas
• For mechanically and chemically loaded surfaces
• Highly resistant against petrol, oil and softening agents from tyres
• Low on odour
• Low inflammability (fire resistance class Bfl - s1 in accordance with EN 13501-1)

Impregnation and sealing of:

The substrate must be in the following condition:

• clean and frost-free


• stable


• free from grease, water soluble coats, cement laitance, separating agents and loose particles

 Level uneven substrates to avoid puddles from forming.

Priming with BOTAMENT® BV 2 transparent: - add B component to A component and mix both together with a slowly rotating mixer for at least 3 minutes - to prevent mixing errors pour BOTAMENT® BV 2 afterwards into a clean container (scratch the container clean) and mix again - roll out the ready mixed material with a short-pile sheepskin roller across the entire area Sealing with BOTAMENT® BV 2 stone grey: - add B component to A component and mix both together with a slowly rotating mixer for at least 3 minutes - to prevent mixing errors pour BOTAMENT® BV 2 afterwards into a clean container (scratch the container clean) and mix again - roll out the ready mixed material with a short-pile sheepskin roller onto the dried primer across the entire area - apply the top coat onto the dried base layer with a short-pile sheepskin roller Surface sealings made of BOTAMENT® BV 2 should be done applying at least two layers. To achieve a slip-resistant surface the first layer of BOTAMENT® BV 2 must be scattered while fresh with dried silica sand of a grain size between 0.1 – 0.3 mm.
